I used to get as frustrated as you do because this thread is so thin and slippery that would tangle everytime I switched colors until I read the manual of my Brother machine: USE THE NET THAT COMES WITH YOUR MACHINE. (see pic) It is used specially with any thread that winds of quickly. If your machine did not come with it, you can purchase one in Amazon. IT WORKS! :)
