Actually seems to work
Really does work. My kiddo usually gets car sick in long car rides. The last time I drove 2 towns over my kiddo got really car sick and I had to pull over to by some kids Dramamine which did not work. I figured I’d try this and see.
I tested this out the other day going to the same place that was 2 towns over. Not sure if it’s some kind of placebo effect but we did not have to stop. Looking forward to testing it out on a longer trip next time!
Update: bought another pair. We have been using this for months used it in a 2 hr car ride and towards the end she was feeling unwell but did make the trip without vomiting.
The one time she went in a friends car and drove 30 min without the band she vomited, talk about embarrassing… now we never leave without it.
Update #2 my daughter just went on multiple 30 min car trips in a day with her friends family and never got sick!
I’m quite shocked myself at how well these things work. She is now 10 so I got the adult size one and it works great. My kiddo is pretty thin too, 20% in weight compared to the average so if your kiddo is around my kids age you may want to get the adult size. We now have one in each of our cars, in her handbag, school bag my handbag, everywhere we can think of.
For folks who have had issues, make sure it’s aligned like the picture. Position matters. Also when my daughter takes off the band there is an indentation in her wrist. Of course you don’t want it to cut off circulation but it needs to be tight. I’m no acupuncturist but I’m sure it works like that so it probably needs to be like someone is pressing on that pressure point.
I really do think if you can find the right spot it can be the answer to your kiddos long car rides.
I was skeptical in the beginning but am a true believer now. Love this thing
