Bought these to replace FL/FR surround speakers. Sounded much better in the beginning, and as time went on a distict rattle could be heard from one of them. I pulled the grill to inspect, and the surround around the cone looked fine. A slight bit of pressure, and the cone popped off. It had been separating at the center for weeks. I expected more than a year of service at moderate levels. What a disappointment. Update:Went to Klipsch's website, sent an email with the details, and received a prompt email stating they would replace the defective driver. It's a shame it failed, things happen. I'm happy to say they stand behind their products.
