120 gems awarded at each new level teir = much more fair gameplay
WAY better than the other version. As anyone who has played this game knows, there are certain levels that are unbeatable unless one of two things happens: either you get lucky and get just the right colors you need at all the right times or you have to use a power up that you can purchase with gems. In the other version you cannot earn gems with gameplay you can only buy them. So as you can imagine you can get stuck at a level for weeks. Since you only get five lives every two hours (you can get more by - guess how? purchasing more gems) this is a recipe for rage quit. In this version you get infinite lives, and every time you go up another tier (each tier has about 25 levels) you open a chest that gives you 120 more gems, which is more than enough to get you through. I'm at level 200 something and have like 400 gems at the moment. Granted I'm pretty conservative with mine since I have a feeling I will want to save them for a rainy day, but the point is that I'm not stuck at one level for days any more. If I play one level a certain amount of times with no luck I just use the powerups and I can move on.
