Amazon is currently selling this lingerie bag for $4.25, less 15 percent on a promotion, with super saver shipping. Having gone through a totally exasperating experience with the $1 store bags (don't bother), I bit it and bought three of these. I am impressed; sometimes you do get what you pay for. The quality of construction is remarkable, even though made in China. The fabric is silky and fine mesh, totally acceptable for hosiery. Size wise, at 12 x 18 inches, it will accommodate four of my bras, which was a major consideration for me. It will also handle one sweater, should I choose to do that, likewise any other fine garment such as a slip or nightgown. The picture really doesn't show it, but the zipper, also of sturdy construction, is totally recessed, covered by a flap of fabric, which should protect it within the washer. Remarkably, there is even a limited lifetime warranty on these bags. Believe it or not, this product is warranted to be free of defects in material and workmanship for as long as the consumer owns the product. Honey-Can-Do offers to repair, replace or substitute with a product of equal value, and contact information is included. I would recommend this item for your fine apparel. August 13, 2011 update: I have been using the three bags I bought every week, and they have held up beautifully, literally looking like new. The zippers stay zipped and do not deteriorate, and the seams do not fray. I thought I was dumb to buy three, but today I used one for hosiery, one for bras (holds three or even four), and one sweater in the same load, so it does pay to have several. November 29, 2012 update: All three bags are still going strong, no problems with them whatsoever. The fabric does not snag, and all zippers are in tact. I use these bags every week. September 14, 2013 update: Another 11 months later, with weekly use, and these bags are just fine. It is rare to find a product that delivers as well as this one does with repeated washer and dryer use. There are no holes, seam rips, snags, or zipper sticks: just amazing. May 28, 2014 update: I love these bags because they are so durable. You can wash anything in them that you want to protect from an HE washer agitator.
