I would recommend thes dryer to anyone who is tired of dryers that dry and burn the crown of your head, but There are several things I love about this dryer: First I'll start with the fact that the holes are positioned so that the air is circulating around your ENTIRE head and not just the crown. It really does dry your hair evenly: no more turning from side to side and in various akward positions trying to get the entire head dry! The setting are Low, Medium, and High. High is hot but no where near unbearable. I mostly use medium setting, but I dry on the High setting sometimes and my hair still comes out shiny and not dried out, and that brings me to my next point. I am a believer of the Ion feature simply because i can tell that my hair is not as dried out as other dryers I've used in the past have made my hair. My hair has a shine to it even before adding my products to my hair. The hood is large enough to accomodate rollers. When drying my hair, I had a HEAD FULL of jumbo flexi rods and had no problem fitting underneath. The pluses are the adjustable hood which features about three or four different heights. The color (purple and black opposed to the usual white dryers). Worth every penny. I love this dryer.
