The Birdbath is very pretty, but I had to do some tweaking, to get it to function the way I wanted it to: The fountain would not remain centered and all the water would eventually spray out onto the ground. I didn’t like the “rocks” idea, because sometimes the fountain would hang up on the rocks. So, to keep the fountain centered in the bowl, I added the following two parts: 1) Bronze Bushing w/ shoulder: 1” OD shoulder x 5/8” ID , 5/8” long, glued to center of birdbath bowl. 2) Plastic Tube or solid rod: 1/4” OD , ?? ID x 11/16” long, superglued to bottom of the pump motor housing . This extended tube reaches down into the bushing on the floor of the bowl , keeping the fountain centered, when filled with the proper amount of water. So far, so good! (See photos)
