Wireless Headphones for a Great Value
DISCLAIMER! I am not an audiophile by any means.
For what these earphones are this is an exceptional deal. I currently own a pair of AirPods which I carry around with me and use quite frequently between work and casual streaming at home on my iPad and iPhone. They work quite well and are easy to use and sound sufficient. But they also cost me $160 when I purchased them.
For the couple days I have now owned these earphones I can say that they work quite well and do just about everything the AirPods do. A huge advantage these have over the AirPods is the touch controls in the earphones. They are able to play/pause skip/replay and much more without sacrificng the other options. AirPods give you the choice to reassign which is great but there is no need with these as you can do all of them with different tap combinations.
For the price they also sound pretty exceptional. They have rubber tips which help to insulate sound better than what you get with AirPods. The downside to these over AirPods however is that you do have to be concerned about whether or not they will fit your ear. I had a bit of a hard time at first as I am used to the hard plastic earphones Apple has been making for years (Including AirPods). So I am more accustomed to that style. However with a little finesse I have gotten better at putting them in my ears. Plus they come with three different size eartips so you can fit them to your liking. You can see from the photos that these headphones are also quite discrete in the ear. They do not create that large of a profile from the front. The second front facing image I am wearing one the Purity Earphones on the left and a AirPod on the right for comparison.
The case they come in is slightly larger than the ones AirPods come in however its not by much. They are definitely still portable and easy to travel with. They also include a small MicroUSB charger to the case with. The earphones themselves are charged inductively through the case. They battery life seems to last pretty well and you can also use each earphone individually so while one is charging in the case you can use the second earphone. They also seem to sync up pretty fast when you go from one to two, or two to one.
I highly recommend these to anyone who is a little more money conscious and is still looking for a greatly quality set of fully wireless earphones. There is no need to keep using wired earphones, there are plenty of cheap alternatives to AirPods like this product available in the market.
