One day I stopped and wondered about why I liked some of my sheets more than others. It was here that I begun my research. Some questions I had: Why did my high thread count sateen sheets look so worn right away? Why did some of my sheets last for years and years? Why were some of my sheet sets "hotter" than others. After looking at thread counts, fiber types, long vs short staple threads and weave. I came to the conclusion that the weave I wanted was percale. I sent out for samples of long staple, pima cotton, percale sheets. Price tag.....OUCH! So, I decided to give these Pinzon sheets a try.... and save $170.00! I figure less than 40 dollars per sheet set was a good price for a try. I wasn't expecting much for the price. I was happily surprised. These sheets are thick and smooth with good stitching. The high end samples that I received seem more "flimsy" than these Pinzon sheets. I will be purchasing more of these sheets in the future.
