This lap desk isn't what I expected & it's very cheap plastic but so far is fine for adult coloring. But do not buy if you need for your laptop! It'll slide right off due to the plastic. My opinion is that it's very cheaply made & priced way too high~should be more like $10. The "legs" fold under VERY easy, in fact the left leg buckled with just a little pressure from me as I was coloring. I wish I'd just bought one of the wooden lap desks! I NEVER advise anyone to buy this one. ***EDIT*** I've had a few weeks to use this product & have changed my mind~I love it. I use it for my coloring & it's perfect. I even took it outside on a rare nice day & was able to color for 4 hrs because I had this desk and my back didn't hurt. I use it daily. I still wouldn't use for a laptop due to slippery surface. And I wish the inside compartments were just 1 big instead of divided. Can't really hold what I need which is my colored pencils in their case. Also, the legs are becoming "loose" meaning they buckle down easy~sometimes while coloring, not good. Still believe it should be cheaper~about $15.
