Seems straightforward and to work! Useful on the night shift in nursing to quickly get a temp on someone without having to wake them up! Plus, you no longer have to worry about trying to explain to someone with cognitive problems that they need to hold something under their tongue or that they need to hold still (and not pull away) when you're putting something in their ear/sliding something across their forehead! So grateful for this thermometer!
