I received my pump, ran to Ace, asked for the plumbing MacGyver then ran home with a free piece of hose and $5 worth of fittings. I can now attach to a garden hose. Now it's test time. The items that need to be cleared up. 1) the quick disconnects for the garden hose washout is in the box, it's just not installed. 2) there is 8 feet of wire, I measured. I did have a small issue which is going to cost the review a star. The momentary switch on the wore wasn't making contact. I had to take it apart and bend the contacts to get it to work. I'm taking a star off because someone not comfortable with this would be stuck sending it back. As for performance. It is way quieter than I expected. You would never bother someone running it at a campsite. I watched YouTube videos on the flojet and people were having to talk over it. I cleaned out and flushed my tanks in just minutes through a 3/4 garden hose running 100 feet. (Hose from Harbor Freight) I have only used it the kne time and if it holds up I can already tell I'm going to love it and the flexibility it's going to provide. Packing on this product could be a lot better. As you can see in the photo it crushed the box a bit. Just a cardboard box with nothing to pad it. I see the potential for shipping damage this way. Other than the switch and packing this performed better than I expected and I'm very happy with my purchase. After you buy it just run to the hardware store and get your 1" ID tubing and let the pros set you up with the fittings if you want to dump through a garden hose.
