I got a great deal on some "flushable" wipes so I picked them up for the family. Apparently "flushable" has multiple meanings because these things clogged a brand new Toto Ultramax with 1.6GPF! Luckily this is not the only bathroom in my house because I wanted to wait it out and see if maybe the wipes would disintegrate and go down over the period of a day or two. For the next 8 days I plunged the hell out of this toilet and couldn't unclog it. Against advice from a friend, I even tried to unclog it with a 25ft snake. On day 9 with freshly scratched porcelain on my brand new Toto toilet, I decided to look for another solution. Some may have called a plumber at this point. Nuh-uh, not this guy! I went on Amazon and found Green Gobbler Powder Plunger. I ordered it and it arrived 2 days later. I emptied 1 full package into the toilet at around 5PM on day 11. About 24 hours later (I was clearly in no rush and the package says to leave it overnight if you can so I figured why not a full day?), I flushed the toilet and voilà! The clog was gone. I can happily report that everything has worked perfectly since. Some advice: Don't be like me and wait almost 2 weeks to unclog your toilet. Just buy some of this stuff and have it ready just in case. No one should have to walk halfway across the house to use a different toilet and nearly poop themselves just because you want to prove that you can fix the clogged one without a plumber (sorry fam).
