I already have a Ninja Foodi Air Fryer and Pressure Cooker, and I wanted a small air fryer to make something quick and leave the Foodi for bigger items and this Instant Vortex delivers! The footprint is small, so I was easily able to find space on my space-deficient kitchen and even if you have to stow it away, it's so small and easy to bring out to use. It heats to 400 degrees and has bake, roast, and pre-heat settings. The rotary dial is all you need to control it (along with some touch sensitive buttons), and it looks very sleek. But how does it air fry? I've so far made fries, pizza rolls, and my own karaage fried chicken and so far it has worked like a charm! All came out crispy as expected. It gets plenty hot and makes it so easy to air fry things with such an easy cleaning chore. All you need to clean is the basket, the removable grill, and then wipe down the area where you place the basket. That's easy! Easy to clean as it's all non-stick surfaces - just wait until it cools down before doing any of this. I totally recommend this for folks that want a small air fryer. It's great for families of 1 or 2 (though you won't be cooking racks of ribs in this) or if you want to supplement your larger air fryer and save that for larger projects. Especially if you have those air fryer and pressure cooker combos. The price is very hard to beat. $45.
