Using this adapter to pair a Bluetooth headset with my desktop, I was worried that there would be some latency. Watching lots of YouTube, I didn't want voices to be out of sync. I tried to find a reasonably priced AptX or a 5.0 adapter, but came up short. Luckily, this adapter works perfectly with no latency. It was completely plug-n-play with Windows 10. The Bluetooth icon showed up immediately in the notification center. Pairing was simple. Other reviewers claiming drivers are an issue must either have some program conflicts, permission issues, are using an offline machine, or an IT managed PC. For a typical home Windows 10 PC, this is plug-n-play, no driver downloads required. Range is also decent. I was able to walk to the kitchen to get a drink, 25ft+ away, and it did not lose connection. I'm certainly not using it for ranged use, but wanted to note that the distance is adequate.
