Wasn't sure if the Cat8 was going to make a difference, but IT DID!!!!! I have an Arris Surfboard SB6183 (400Mbps) Spectrum internet 400 Mbps plan and a mesh system: TP-Link Deco M9 Plus Tri-Band Mesh System AC2200. My setup has always been since I installed my mesh system, internet connected directly to Arris modem to TP-LINK Deco M9 node (have no router) and two satellite nodes. After connecting the Cat8 cable from Arris modem to TP-LINK Deco M9 node I restarted the Arris modem and all three nodes. Once everything came back up I took a test using the Speed Test app from Google play store. The attached pic shows my up and down speeds with/without VPN, as you can see my speed increased significantly without my VPN on, but with it on its still better than what I used to get, I would average between 115 Mbps to 132 Mbps down.
