Wow! What a deal!! I’m a fitness enthusiast and have turned to Sunny Health and Fitness on numerous occasions when I need a lotta bang for my buck! I sold my dumpy weight bar on Craigslist that was 60” and about 2oz. Purchased this. As you are looking for one this is 60” not Olympic bar size you’d have at the gym. But as a 5’7 woman I find this bar very comfortable for my weight lifting at home. My husband also uses it with no complaints. So keep in mind it is smaller that your gym size bar which you can also buy on amazon but think of price difference and house size where this may be a nicer option. I have never had threaded edges so that’s exciting to add to this bar as well! So far I have no cons, if I find some I will add to my review. Pros: • Packaging was EXCELLENT! Foam bloke around 3 parts to protect, plastic wrapping, cardboard corners in addition to a cardboard box with plastic ties around it. • Weighted for extra resistance • diamond texture for grip • Attractive star ends to keep weights from going across the whole bar vs the normal metal raised lump. It also prevents the bar from rolling across your floor which is helpful if you have hard floors and young children. • threaded ends to keep weights on better Bar is 1” so I bought specific 1” weight clamps for $6 Overall I highly recommend this bar to anyone adding to a home gym whether new to fitness or long time enthusiast. Can’t beat this price, even on Craigslist. Very satisfied I DIDN’T know this, but you do NOT need weight clamps too since the spiral ring twists on and really locks the weight.
