I don’t know why so many people say this doesn’t work. I’ve been using it to cure hard gel as well as gel polish from Ulta and it work’s beautifully. I usually use the 60 second full power setting because the “heat” doesn’t bother me but both work fine for me. One has to make sure that the plug is securely connected. If that is not all the way pushed in it does flicker. Gotta plug it in right like any lamp. I’ve been using it for several months for myself for personal use, not in a salon, and I love it. Cheap way to get started with gel manicures. Update: I’ve also used it with Gelish Structure Gel in addition to the IBD Builder Gel and it works just as well. It’s been working great for almost 3 months now.
