Great product. At first I was let down that previous reviews of the lid not being air tight was true when all three cereal containers had a gap and I decided to setup a return. For some reason I decided to review the reassembly instructions and decided to double check. I found that each of the three cereal containers had the flip up lid portion not fully installed from the factory even though from the outside the function and appearance it looks like it was. This was probably done to protect the inner tabs from cracking during transport stress but I am guessing. It wasn’t until I performed the last three steps of the reassembly instructions is when I noticed the seal was now tight and no more gaps exist. I included pictures so you can what I mean. I think OXO quality control has to be tighter or they need to advertise that installation is still needed. This could be the reason why the negative reviews on here of not being airtight when in reality they over looked this part. In the end I cancelled my return. I hope this helps others from making a mistake that I almost made which is thinking that the lid was defective.
