Best value for the money
The MX532 is a great printer for light home-office use. It has very good quality prints, scans very well, and faxes reliably. As another reviewer remarked about the previous model (MX-522), you "don't need at Ph.D. to use it." Wireless set-up was a snap and after downloading the drivers and programs from the included CD on two laptops (one with Windows 7 and one with Windows 8), wireless set up for each took 30 seconds. I will be testing iPad and iPhone printing in the next few days and update this review accordingly.
I've been putting this new printer through its paces by printing automatic two-sided copies every day. No jams so far. This is a necessary feature for me to have. If you don't mind manual two-sided printing, then I'd recommend the Canon PIXMA MX452 Wireless Inkjet Office All-In-One or the Canon Office Products MX472 Wireless Office All-In-One Printer (newer model).
If you need better photo printing quality, then I would recommend the Canon PIXMA MX922 Wireless Color Photo Printer with Scanner, Copier and Fax that Amazon sells currently for $120. It uses separate color cartridges (4 total when you include black) that you replace when each separate color is empty, but according to Consumer Reports, the 922 uses much more ink due to that better quality color print. (FYI: the 452, 472, 522, & 532 use the same two ink cartridges, one for black ink and the other for color.)
One of the reasons that I much prefer Canon to Epson printers is that if you run out of any color of ink, you can STILL print. You just press the "OK" button on the top of the printer after the printer warns you which cartridge is out of ink, and you can keep on printing until you have the opportunity to replace the ink cartridge. Another person reviewing the previous 522 model said that you can also set the printer properties to print from just the black ink cartridge, or to just use grayscale.
I ended up buying the Canon MX532 for $119.99 at Fry's (limited time sale) and couldn't be happier with it so far, but I've had it only a week and plan to update my experiences with it periodically.
