Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

A lot of comments and reviews were very concerned about the comfort and thickness of this futon. I saw things like “glorified sleeping bag” and was nervous. I don’t know what kind of luxury sleeping bags people buy, but this is thicker than any sleeping bag I’ve ever owned. People in the US are really used to our big comfortable beds, as am I. I decided to get a futon though because of how much trouble I’ve had in the past moving so much. I didn’t want to buy thousands of dollars worth of bed that I would have to pay even more money to move with. This is not a mattress. It’s not a giant, fluffy bed. It’s a $150 futon. For the price this purchase was absolutely worth it. It’s actually even more comfortable than I was anticipating, and I knew I’d be able to make it work despite the less than stellar reviews. Out of the package mine did have a slight smell, but I have a strong sense of smell and didn’t feel the need to wipe it down or spray it. Fluff it, air it out, maybe spray it with fabric cleaner or deodorizer, and this futon is definitely worth $150. If you want something more luxurious then pay more. Price to value, this is portable, easy to clean, and well made.
