Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I've read the other reviews. This is what I rec'vd. A first class game board, beautiful wood inlay, really classy. I ordered to give as a gift to a friend that loves the game. Based on other reviews, I was hesitant, figured if it was not nice enough I'd keep it myself. Well, this looks like a $300 set. Most impressive, quality through and through, inside and out. The dice are a bit small. The leather-like dice cups are just fine. Real leather would likely deaden the sound a bit better. The wooden pieces are nice colors, but light weight, some will prefer that for travel. I did give this to a snobby friend, who has since told me via a girlfriend that this is $289 retail set. What I did was toss the box it came in, remove the made in china sticker, and put it in a nice gift box with lots of tissue paper (bought them at Dollar tree for $2), then wrapped the gift and bought a card (another buck at dollar tree). Played on this set with him many times in the past year. Still beautiful. Please click "YES" if this review was helpful. Thanks.
