I have 5 yapping Pomeranians and a lab mix who barks at strange dogs when I walk her, as well as from our backyard. I was at my wits' end having tried everything to get some quiet in the house and make walks less stressful. My latest attempt was by carrying around an aluminum can filled wth coins to shake when they barked. That worked for about 30 seconds at a time. Last week I decided to try this Doggy Don't thingy, fully intending on returning it if it didn't work. OMG...it's a miracle! The day it came, I installed the batteries and waited for my chance to give it a try. Five minutes later, I hit the button in the middle of another bark fest and ALL 6 of my dogs immediately went quiet. Then (per the instructions) I said "hush" in a calm voice, then praising them. I only had to use it one more time that day before saying "hush" alone worked. The next day I took the device on our daily walk. As soon as we encountered another dog, my mutt started growling & whining; I pressed the button, said "hush" & praised her. Hallelujah it worked!!!! The rest of the week saying "hush" results in immediate silence and all my babies running over to me for love and kisses (& sometimes treats) as the reward for shutting their yaps. Life is so much more peaceful in our house now. THANK YOU to whomever invented this!
