This is my second Levoit air purifier. I previously purchased the Core 300 which I am very happy with. I purchased this one because I have a cat. I really like the color of this one - it is a nice gray color and the shape and style is nice and it looks good in my living room and does not take up a lot of space. I have it up on a stool after reading suggestions from other reviewers. As mentioned in my review for the other air purifier, my health has been much improved since I purchased both purifiers. This one is great because it picks up pet hair, dander, and pet odors. I am now much fonder of my kitty. Even the cat sneezes less and he seems to be in better health. He too, had allergies. I could not be happier. I have had 3 months to try it out and have not had any mechanical issues and the filter is still good. Some reviewers mentioned burning or electrical smells and I have had none of those issues. I set the timer when I leave so it will shut off and so that is a great to have. I can sleep with it running on all speeds except for the highest level. It also has a sleep setting which is great. I highly recommend this product.
