Our grandson absolutely loves this tractor. He is almost three and it took a couple of times riding around to get the knack of steering. I wish the upgraded more powerful battery would come with the tractor. I plan on purchasing one as a backup. I added real headlights which operate with a rocker switch and got the after market battery operated horn. I got a three pack of bicycle flasher lights which have an elastic strap with Velcro and attached them to the exhaust stack both for looks and to show up for vehicles on our roadway which has scant traffic. I got the idea on YouTube to attach bicycle tire tread on the wheels both to protect the plastic wheels and to provide traction. The plastic tires are slippery and they were showing wear after only three times riding around on asphalt. Plus the bicycle tread should provide a quieter ride. I cut off an inch on each side of the bicycle tires so they would lie flat against the tractor tires and fastened them with 3/4” stainless steel coarse thread screws. Others used coarse drywall screws which wouldn’t show as much but I wanted something to hold up to getting wet.
