great, & Just like the standard app
I have the Superwhy app on my Motorola Droid 2 and my 3 and 1 yr old kids love it. It is very educational just like the TV show if you've ever watched it. Helps with spelling, word recognition, word sounds, etc. This works great on Kindle Fire.
Princess Presto does a spelling game where you have to trace the letters with your finger once you select the right one to spell the word. This helps the child learn how to write the letter.
Alpha Pig has my favorite game where you pick the path with the correct letter to spell a word.
I forget what Red does, my kids rarely pick her.
Super Why has you zap a word into the story and the picture changes to fit the word. Example Goldilocks sleep in a TUB, PLANE, or BED? If you pick plane the picture changes to see her sleeping in a plane. My son actually chooses the wrong word on purpose because it makes him laugh.
Every level you get a "sticker" at the end that is a picture from the game you completed. There is a scene you can decorate with your stickers like virtual rubber stamps. It's cute.
The games are fun though and good graphics. Great for pre-readers to early readers. So glad they came out with a Kindle tablet edition! I was really bummed that it wasn't available on Kindle before and I even paid the $1.99 for this app. My kids love it and it is worth it to me to have an educational game for them to pass the time on mommy's Kindle instead of Angry Birds - which we do have the ad-free edition! ;) I recommend SuperWhy app for all kindle tablet users who allow preschoolers on their devices (while watched of course).
