My kids and I counted the bag contents. The results are below. Our count totals more than 1000 pieces, but we recounted the most numerous pieces, so I am pretty sure the count is accurate: 1x1 = 120 pieces 1x2 = 226 1x3 = 40 1x4 = 30 1x6 = 31 (one has mis-shapen end) 1x8 = 49 2x2 = 142 2x3 = 90 2x4 = 102 2x6 = 30 2x8 = 49 2x10 (flat) = 20 roof = 53 L-shaped 1x3 = 62 The 2x4,6,8s total 181 pieces, which is MUCH better than Lego offers. They fit Legos very well with only a few exceptions. Given the cost savings, I have no problem tossing a few bad fit pieces out. To get a similar mix of Legos would have been twice as much or more. So, definitely not Legos, but a good bargain and my kids are happy. They built things using these blocks and our Legos. You can't tell which pieces are Legos and which are not as you look at the constructions.
