I bought one of these and it worked really well... so I bought a second one for my wife. We have them both installed in our vehicles. Unfortunately, both of them have cracked after normal use. We have not treated them poorly or rough. It seems really odd that they both cracked after a few weeks of use. They both still seem to work okay for now... but the fact that they cracked so quickly has me nervous. Note, the magnet works really well and holds the phone very well... and it charges fine. But that crack... jeepers. UPDATE: After leaving this review, the company was adamant that they wanted to 'make it right'... they offered an exchange or a refund. Since both of these purchased chargers cracked exactly the same way (installed in two separate cars used by two professional adults)... I just assumed that the replacement would crack as well. They also offered a refund without the need to return the item... that seemed fine -- I'm not sure how long this will last, but knowing it didn't cost me anything doesn't hurt. Note that after they refunded me, their response was "If you have received the refund, and you've been satisfied with this resolution and my service, I would greatly appreciate it if you would give us a better evaluation." I'll change my rating to 3.22 stars, rounded down. It was nice to get the refund.... but buyers should know what happened to the products I received. I don't know if the cracks came from the summer heat or some weird defect -- but the fact that it happened on two items ordered a month apart - that makes me nervous. UPDATE # 2 - Customer service contacted me with: "I'd like to tell you that the face cover is cracked because the high temperature causes the thermal silica gel and double-sided tape to expand slightly, swelling the glass face cover. We have improved this product, so I'd like to offer you a replacement. Please let me know if you would like a replacement and I will be happy to issue it to you right away." I received the replacement and we've had enough hot days to prove that I think the newer product is working without cracking. I've changed my star to 5 stars and I plan on buying a second one for the wife's car.
