A suggestion to many 1-star reviews
Well, I do not write Amazon reviews often but I feel like to do something to clarify some misunderstanding for this product. Before I placed the order, as usual, I read those 1-start reviews to find potential flaws of the product. I believe I dodged a few bad products by doing so. But this time, I just ... LOL. Folks, unlike blueberry or cranberry, dried Goji is not supposed to eat raw directly. Traditional Chinese Medicine highly values Goji and believes it has special nutrition for human body. For dried Goji, you can either (1) Use it as an ingredient in your soup. I recommend chicken-noodle soup or vegetable soup. It will bring a natural sweetness to your soup. (2) Put one table spoon of dried Goji in a cup. Add cold or warm water (about 1/4 of the cup) to soak/rinse it for 15 seconds. Pour the water out. Add HOT water into the cup and wait for 3 minutes. Now, you can drink the Goji-water and eat the Goji in your cup. Now back to this product. As soon as I received it, I used the method (2) mentioned above to taste it. I only smelled/tasted natural sweetness without any trace of souring flavor (which is a sign of sulfide). I think I would buy it again and recommend it to my Asian friends.
