Update. 9/4/19 Wow! We had another power outage I had to run the generator for 4 hours. It worked great but the battery was dead. No problem, I pulled the rope and it started right up. I was able to run my hot water heater, stove, lights, all of my appliances. I was able to run my air when I turned off the hot water heater. This machine is awesome. We are expecting Dorian to hit but I am ready with this generator. I called today the company about the battery, they are sending me a new one. I bought this Oct. 14 of 2018 and the battery is still under warranty. This is the second time I had to call the company and each time I was treated with respect and appreciation for buying their product. Customer care is great. I would buy this generator again not just the for the machine but also because of the customer care. update: 1/17/2020 We had an ice storm this past weekend. We were without power for eight hours. I am so glad that I purchased this generator. It ran most of my house: furnace, hot water heater, all of my appliances. I made a video to show how quite it is after running for six hours. I used gasoline and propane. If you are in the market for a quality generator I highly recommend this Pulsar 12000. I also gave a review for the cover that I purchased it works great with this generator. 1/30/2022 I read the first review and I would like to answer a few of the questions. I have nothing to do with the Pulsar company and I have not been rewarded at all for my review. The 12,000 comes with Oil, battery, cables, wheel kit, and everything you will need to run this unit. I had to purchase a 25' extension cord to reach my house. I had a Coleman and Westinghouse generators before I bought this unit but this one out performed both of them. I sold both of my old units to help pay for this Pulsar. I used a 40 lb. propane tank and it ran for six hours and there were still gas in that tank. It is great to know that I have heat, hot water, lights, and some appliances during a power outage. My neighbor came and stayed with us until the power came back on. I highly recommend this generator and this company.
