This is an excellent shirt. The texture is a brushed, soft finish that is very comfortable. I am 6 feet tall and weigh 190 pounds with a somewhat broad chest. A medium fit me well to provide a slim, well put together look without looking or feeling tight at all. The hem of the shirt hits just below the opening of my front pocket on my jeans. The armholes are tailored a bit higher than you would find on a "work" flannel and are more consistent with a dress shirt style. That isn't to say that this flannel is restrictive in any way. It is comfortable with enough room to move around and do any routine tasks. I probably wouldn't wear this if you plan on chopping wood or doing something really upper body intensive though. The stitching appears to be solid but I will have to wear it for a while to see how it holds up over time. I am a bit disappointed that Amazon doesn't provide a fit guide or sizing chart for their own products. Those are very common among other brands and it would certainly help others feel more confident in their purchase. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a casual flannel that doesn't want something overly baggy or super-slim. ***UPDATE*** The sizing chart link is available on the desktop web interface of the site, however that link is absent on the mobile app (what I used to purchase the shirt).
