I have tried a number of microwave egg poachers and they all make a mess and don't work very well. This one is exactly what I wanted. It is easy to clean, does not make a mess in the microwave, and cooks the eggs just how I like them. With an 1100 watt microwave at 50 percent power for two minutes you will get poached eggs with a slightly runny yolk. Do not add water to the cups and there is no need to pierce the yolk. The eggs slide right out. No fuss...no mess.
