First, I was slightly skeptical when we purchased this scooter because of the multiple reviews about it being difficult to assemble. I can't for the life of me figure out what the people were talking about. It came in 4 pieces, the frame, 2 wheels, and the handle bar. The breaking system is the same as a peddle bike. It took me 15 min with no instructions to assemble. My son is 7 and he and I have been on it all day. Well made, solid! I WD-40ed the wheels for faster speeds and it's perfect! Great purchase and we would buy this unit again for our other kiddos if they wanted one!
