The fabric was not what I expected, I guess I didn't read the details. It's not a cotton or knit fabric it's a 'shinier' type of fabric. With that said I lover this dress, took a ton if pics. It's perfect for work. I ordered one size up just to be safe which wasn't necessary, the dress is a bit loose on me especially in the mid riff area which isn't flattering so I wore it with some helpful under garments.
