I was skeptical that this could live up to it's claims, even after reading the reviews for it. I decided I needed to get a larger bottle than the 24oz I was using so I thought I'd give it a try because I was tired of my ice melting and water getting warm if I just left it sitting for 4-5 hours. Now that I've been using this for a few days I can confirm that it does live up to it's claims. I can go a few days without having to change/refill the ice in the bottle. It keeps my water ice cold all the time no matter how long I seem to leave it sitting. I can see why some people have the suction issue they do with the straw but it only took me a few sips to adapt how I drink to get used to it and not have any issues. The only negative criticism I have is the rubber grip they include is completely worthless. The bottle itself is made of the best materials they could use but the rubber grip is the cheapest thing imaginable to use for a grip. Thankfully, the matte surface of the bottle makes it easy to grip so that rubber grip is superfluous. I wasn't paying for the grip, though. I was paying for a fantastic water bottle that can keep water cold and ice still ice for days and this water bottle does exactly that.
