I have bought these types of straps from two other companies. These are different, even though they look almost exactly the same. The straps on these can overlap over the full length since there is velcro strap holding material all the way. Therefore, if you don't have huge arms these will allow you to overlap and still have a strong hold. Other models from other companies don't work this way; if you overlap, they don't have the proper velcro on the outer surface and therefore can't be overlapped without loosing holding power. That won't work very well for most folks unless you have huge arms. Therefore I strongly recommend you consider these straps. In the photo, there is actually three layers of strap material. The bottom layer, that you can't see, goes through the two loops, one which you can see at the top of the picture, and the other which is behind the arm at the bottom-that you can't see. One strap end forms the 2nd layer which is what the arrow points to, and the 3rd layer is the other end which went through the behind the arm loop. The point is that no matter the size of your arm, the velcro material is along the full length allowing it to find a place to seal down.
