I had tried several different brands of vacuum bags (Ziplac, SpaceBags, etc.) and always the same problem: after time and use, they let in air. Considering how inexpensive the bags are NOT, I'd expect better quality.These Vacwell bags are just that. The first thing I noticed when I pulled them out is how thick they are. I'm talking twice the thickness of every other bag I've tried. They're also HUGE! Like I could've climbed inside the bag with room to spare (and I'm 5'10!!). The seal is also more solid. In the past, other bags I had a hard time zipping and sealing and even when I got them sealed, they felt like it wouldn't take much to open them. These Vacwell bags take effort to open, so when they're sealed, they're air-tight sealed. I bought these to store my kids' sentimental baby clothes in for when they grow up and have their own, they can use them. I have little doubt that these bags will get the job done. I will be purchasing again.
