Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I am a sufferer of a stupid little disease called Reynaud's Syndrome. It causes your fingers to lose circulation, lose sensation, and turn white & purple in the cold. Even the slightest cold can set it off but can you imagine what these harsh Wisconsin winters do to me?? I walk my dogs daily. And when I say daily, I mean daily - I do not skip walks no matter what the weather is (unless it is so harsh even the dogs can't handle it). So a typical walk in winter in Wisconsin means that my fingers are numb for at least the first 20 minutes until I can get my blood moving hard & fast enough to move blood back into my fingertips. It is highly annoying and I worry that I may cause significant damage someday without knowing it :( So, I need to find something that actually works. I believe I found it in these gloves. Tried them for the first time today. The weather here on December 31,2014 was 9 degrees with a wind chill of negative 15 (look it up, I am telling the truth)!!! I started out with putting the gloves on inside the house when my fingers were already warm and I believe this is a very important step. The reflectors cannot reflect heat that is not there. But I have to honestly say that my fingers DID NOT get cold once! And by the end of an hour & a half in this weather, my hands were warm & sweaty. I am moving though people, not on some leisurely stroll so that might play in somewhat. But I have NEVER had a walk where, in the first 20 minutes, my hands were warm! I am not a paid review, I am not a Columbia employee, I am not getting anything for this review. And I am saddened to hear that those things even actually happen because I thought I could really trust Amazon's reviews. I am a real person, married, with (3) 100 pound dogs out in harshest WI winters. And I believe that these gloves are wonderful so far!! Thanks - Gale!
