I cannot say enough good things about this basket! After seeing them in my favorite spas and crystal stores, I began researching Himalayan salt lamps. After reading the claims that they purify the air, help sleep and emit a sense of calm I HAD to try one! I have 3 other salt lamps and was sad to discover that 1 out of the 3 was fake. So I purchased this one, crossing my fingers that it was 100% genuine Himalayan salt. Besides being astetically beautifully, I was pleasantly surprised when handling the rocks made an open cut on my finger start to burn! Signs that it's real!! Hooray! I used to turn it on low during the day, full brightness at night and turn it off before bed (for the one I kept in my living room). One morning I woke up to water all over the counter it was placed on and discovered that since the salt pulls moisture from the air, that this was ANOTHER sign that it was genuine salt rock! You can feel the difference in the room after turning it on and all my friends say that my apartment feels "warm and relaxing" after purchasing it (mind you, none of them knew about Himalayan salt lamps!). For this price, size and quality you cannot beat this basket!! I highly reccomend it!!
