This is a great knee brace for folks with arthritis and neurological damage to the knees. I cannot vouch for runners and folks that use it in ultra-active sports (i.e. basketball) that have large amounts of lateral, vertical, and forward movement. BUT for myself I was able to increase my walking and exercising range by over 60% without experiencing the pain and weakness that I experienced with other compression knee braces. I did find the braces were firm yet fairly flexible in their support. The only detrimental comment I can make is where the labels are sewn on it was a bit scratchy (easily solved with some athletic tape over it). Personally, I strongly recommend this for older folks like me that have need for that type of support. And, Yes I plan on getting more pairs for myself and family!
