My intentions was to spent $40-$50 on a dog bed so I spent hours sifting through the various dog beds, and was happy to find this bed for my mid sized Pit. The price I thought was to high thou and thought "Maybe One Day" And held off for a few days while continuing my search. All the ones I saw had a matting that was obviously flimsy (I also watched review videos, if it's not her on Amazon I would Youtube the item.)I also did as I always do while purchasing online... I read reviews. This product had no review. But I did see the 'V' shape sideing that would help in support) Her other $37 bed was her size except she would always lay her head over the side, pluse I had to also place a pillow on the inside to keep off the cold floor. I knew this was Chiropractic damaging. This bed solved that problem. (Yeah, ONE DAY finally came!) After getting The Deluxe Ortho Bolster my dog 'Peanutt' just went crazy! Once she got in the bed she didn't want to get out!...even when I went to the door!(Which ALWAYS called for her attention.)The issue of her ALWAYS wanting to get on my bed was now no longer an issue. And I have to admit that I am so happy that I took the time searching and decided my dogs Chiropractic sleep was important enough for me to invest in this expensive azz bed. (This is coming from someone who is struggling in this hard economy. The better I care for Peanutt the less I have to spend at the Vets.. and trust me their bills are no le$$ than ours!) To see my "Nutt" laying comfortably one this big bed that contours her with its round shape and give her the opportunity to lay flat out on a "BEDDING" ( Not some flimsy filling that over time would bundle-up, but real padding, with sturdy side pillows that didn't fold down from the weight of "Peanutt-head".)My only peeve about the bed is that I wish they didn't have the light inside bed cover, BUT the fact that I can remove the bed padding and pillow padding from two large zippers and wash the fabric is also a BIG,BIG+. It does clean very easy with a wet rag for minor spots.(It has a beaded bottom for floors, so I'd be careful with drying in a dryer on high heat.) This product comes in different sizes and colors: S-M-L-XL in Green & Brown, there may be other colors but the green was the color that I wanted. So dog Lovers... if you think this is to pricey of a bed, buy the "Cheap" one and see if it's sturdy, good padding, great pillow support, and washable. Then when you had enough of the "Cheap" stuff, come back and spend the extra $25-$30 on this bed and have a bed good enough for the little part of the family,Doggy! *FOLLOW-UP* After almost eight months I finally did a video review of the Ortho bed.
