Before buying this, I was plagued (no pun intended) with mice the past 5 years, ever since I bought the house. They live under the house, and create a heck of a smell in the laundry room and part of the garage/workshop. I called pest controll companies, I put out mouse traps, mouse poison, nothing worked. The mouse pee smell continued -- some weeks worse than others. HOWEVER -- it's over. done. They're gone. I bought a couple of these and plugged them in near ground-zero in my workshop. They've simply stopped visiting in my house and workshop/garage. A little history/context -- I had called the local pest control people, who fixed the crawl space screening so nothing could enter or leave, and they put out elaborate traps. Nothing was caught, and the mouse smell remained, sometimes worse than other times. I bought SACKS of mouse poison -- to no avail. I bought the Black and Decker ultrasound pest device, which seemed to work somewhat, and then I bought this one, and this is the one that actually did the trick! Hoorayyyy!!!! Now I love hangin' in my workshop and goofing around with my hobbies out there. Phewww. So, thank you for making this device! Don't hesitate. And NO, I didn't receive it as a promotion or anything like that. I was simply that desperate.
