Most of the people with the negative reviews are only upset because there's a smart black woman in a high ranking military position and that a black man is starring in a role that is normally given to white actors. I guarantee you if Jason Stathom played the role with the same exact script they'd be giving it 5 stars. Even though they swear the storyline and writing is bad. Michael B. Jordan is an excellent actor and he did a great job. I'm happy to see more black people getting starring roles in action, drama and even horror films. Instead of us only being cast in comedies. This movie was really entertaining and I can't wait for the sequel! Please ignore the negative reviews and watch it for yourself.
