I just wanted to write this review in case anyone has the problem I did. I remember reading a review that said it works great if you're six inches away. After I installed mine I checked it that evening and said "oh great he was right" it only will come on if I wave my hand about six inches in front of it. I set the sensitivity in multiple locations but had the same result. I pointed the globe in the direction I wanted to pick up movement. I don't know if I missed it in the instructions but, after you set your sensitivity and so on. You must pull the sensor (white globe) back down (not pointed in a direction) Just like it is in the picture.Very simple mistake, but one I imagine quite a few people will make. So I hope this helps someone not experience the frustration I was having, to the point I was going to return it. Oh and by the way it works excellent when the globe is down. The sensitivity is great, you can have it stay on as long or as short as you like and it's very bright!
