Having married a "cat person", I have become an experienced cat owner. I love one, tolerate the other, and generally spend a lot of time with my dog. Aside from frequent grumblings about a certain smoky kitty poking holes in my furniture, my pet peeve centers around The Litter Box. This dreaded necessity has been my bane for the past four years. Until now! I have tested a variety of litter boxes, from the Booda Dome to the Breeze system, but have never been happy with their performance. For some reason, following my dog around and picking up his warm poop with a biodegradable plastic baggie wrapped around my hand has never bothered me (okay, maybe just a little). But scooping out a litter box?? The Horror! Smelly. Dusty. Messy. An overall disgusting experience that my "cat person" husband somehow has managed to avoid these past years. I have thus far been stuck with this delightful task. But two months ago, I took a stand and said, "No more!" No more will I be slave to the Box d'Odour. No more will I tolerate the sneezing fits associated with cleaning the dust-filled bins. Omega Paw Self-Cleaning Litter Box has come to my rescue! What I Love... It's such an easy task to roll the box onto it's side and let all the nasties fall into the convenient built-in tray. Dump the tray, and voila! No more messy litter box. It's that simple. No obnoxious cloud of dust assaults your face as the box remains covered at all times. Works surprisingly well with natural Swheat Scoop litter. Cheap, biodegradable and even flushable! I sprinkle a touch of baking soda in the box to extend the "life" of the litter as I do not like to wash the box more than once a month. I also add a few drops of essential oils for natural fragrance. My cats are super tolerant and don't mind these human shenanigans. Keep a good three inches of litter in the box and you'll never deal with odour again. What can I say? I may not love dealing with cat "presents" of all sorts, but I am definitely more accepting of this cat ownership thing ever since the Omega Paw Self-Cleaning Litter Box rolled into my life.
