First off, these really help my digestive system stay smooth and regular. I take a minimal amount, just five capsules at bedtime. One tricky thing about these is that you can't take them too close to your medication as they can absorb the medication and lower its effectiveness. Just taking those five at night works well for me though. The reason I wanted to write this review though is that I really like this size bottle. It's 300 capsules, which is pretty huge. In the past, I have ordered Metamucil Daily Fiber Supplement, Psyllium Husk Capsules, 160 Capsules (Pack of 2) and that lasts a while too, but this big 300 count bottle is nice to have just one big bottle that will last a good long while. If you have an "irregularity' or problems with your digestive system this is a good, gentle option to get things back on track. Of course, it's probably a good idea to run this by a doctor before you start taking it, but every doctor I have asked tells me that psyllium husk is a very safe, gentle option.
