We love this lamp. Assembled in in about 10 minutes. Very easy. Really nice over a chair where there was not enough room for a table and lamp. The base is sturdy so I don't worry about it being knocked over. It is a stand alone lamp so it can be used as extra lighting for video, etc. My daughter likes it for her makeup videos. She likes the fact that she can adjust the lighting (which goes from cool to warm) with the remote control and don't have to go back and forth to the lamp. The neck swivels easily to adjust to many angles. We are looking forward to getting another one. So far this one has delivered all it promised
