I waited a couple months to review this. I really like it. It's a good medium firm mattress... I was expecting softer based on reviews but it's not soft. It's also not super hard. I sleep on my side so wanted softer but it's very comfortable and pretty much perfect as is. I had to adjust to having my first memory foam bed but was able to sleep on it from night one. I've gotten used to it now and I love it!!! I don't feel like it gets hot at all (FYI it was 119 here the other day... So that's important). I'm very happy with this purchase and am using it on a metal platform bed frame from zinus and it works great! No box spring needed. It's true to size as well... It's a queen for sure. Lol. Oh, and it expanded to almost full size immediately and all the way within an hour! Slight smell for the first few days but not enough to keep me from sleeping on it and not very strong at all. Oh and it does expand to the full nine inches! Hope that all helps! I would buy it again and recommend to family. It's really a nice mattress for this price, or any price.
