This thing really sucks...in a good way!
I'd resisted the idea of spending so much on a Dyson vacuum, but after hearing several friends rave about their various Dyson models, I took the plunge when I saw this model on sale at a department store near me. Now, I wonder why I waited so long.
The suction on this thing is great and it got stuff that my big upright vac didn't get. It moves very smoothly and turns very easily thanks to the ball bearing-like mechanism on the cleaner head. It's lightweight and easy to carry and push around. It's very easy to empty the canister, just push the little lever down and the bottom swings open. The attachments are great and are very easy to switch out. You just press down on the little button and they come off easily and they're easy to snap in to place. The crevice attachment is very helpful for cleaning under cabinets, along walls, etc. This model comes with the Mini Motorized Tool, which is why I sprung for this one over the V6 Motorhead or plain V6. With the mini motorized tool, I can easily vacuum the furniture and in my car, which gives it extra functionality.
I haven't specifically timed battery life, but I'm able to vacuum my entire 1-bedroom apartment on one charge, so it's sufficient for me. It doesn't gradually die like my dusbuster does, but just goes from full power to off when the battery dies. Not really problematic, but it did catch me off guard the first time it did that since I'm used to having a bit of warning that my dustbuster is going to die.
One note, the charger indicates that it's dual voltage, if that matters to you. I have not tried it on 220v power, so I can't say for sure that it would work on 220v, but the charger indicates it can take 220v.
