What has two thumbs, cankles, and loves these shoes? Um, this girl! So I love Chucks but my giant tree trunk cankles and ogre feet don’t. I’ve broken both feet and ankles over the years and have had surgeries to put plates and screws in my bones which has resulted in much wider than average feet that are prone to swelling. I also have bunions on the side of each of my big toes. (Don’t I sound lovely?) I bought a pair of Chucks that looked like these last year and they were horrible for my feet. I was excited to try these and so happy when I found they fit so nicely! Honestly they feel like they’re fit more for a dude, but that’s fine with me! They have ample room in the toe box which is really where I have a lot of problems and I actually found them to be much more flexible and better made than real Chucks. I’ve worn them nearly everyday since I got them. The length is maybe a smidge longer than what I expected, but not enough to bother me. If you’re thinking about them, buy these!!
